Why Intandem?
We support one another and together we flourish. That’s how it’s been for over 60 years. We believe in welcoming, helping, and understanding each neighbor who walks through our doors. When you become a member, you become an owner. This is both rewarding and empowering, for you and for everyone who unites here for a healthy financial future. Together, we give back and support those closest to us.
IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
We live and work amongst our members. We share sidewalks, playgrounds, schools, and businesses. When we have the opportunity to help a neighbor with one of life’s many financial decisions, we don’t just look at the numbers. Our perspective helps us see the big picture. From buying a first car to planning for retirement, we’re always here, right next door.
FOCUSED ON YOU.
We began as a small group, working together to support our families and strengthen our community. Throughout the decades, that philosophy has not changed. We take pride in knowing our members by name. We get to know who you are and your goals; we work side-by-side to best support you today and tomorrow.
INVOLVING AND EMPOWERING.
Our business is built on investing in one another. Every member is an active participant in a cooperative that considers your success its own. Everyone works together to support your personal and your community’s needs. We’re not just your credit union, we are an active partner in your life and are here to help.

Intandem Credit Union has always focused on serving the county’s employees with superior service and helpful financial solutions. And we continue to do this today. But as we’ve grown and changed, so has our membership. Our members work for all different types of companies and live both in and outside of Kent County. This growth has allowed us to develop better products, expand services, and reinvest in tools and technologies to provide a better banking experience for our members. While our core values hadn’t changed, our name no longer represented who we are. In 2021, we have changed our name to Intandem Credit Union, where we work side-by-side with you, providing guidance and helpful financial solutions.
We currently have two offices that serve more than 6,000 members. We are also part of a vast shared branch network which allows members of our credit union to transact business on their accounts at various other credit unions or service centers, statewide and nationally. As part of the Co-Op Network our members have access to over 30,000 ATMs nationwide with services such as online banking, telephone banking, shared branch networks, ATMs, debit cards, and so much more, we can serve our members wherever life may take them today and in the future.
