Seeking an Associate Director to Shape Innovation and Success!
Credit Union service can be very rewarding. You can make a positive impact on the financial success of members and our surrounding communities. Joining a board can increase your leadership experience, build your resume, provide new business insights, and expose you to a variety of professional networks. When you give your time and talent, everyone benefits, and it can change lives.
Our volunteer Board of Directors provides strategic direction and governance of the Credit Union’s business. The board is comprised of members who are dedicated to supporting the credit union, its members, communities, and employees. Directors share their experience in business and community leadership while representing fellow Credit Union members.
The Associate Director Program provides an opportunity to serve Intandem’s members and prepare for becoming a Board Director. Associate Directors participate in strategic and general policy discussion with Intandem Credit Union’s senior management and Board of Directors. This is a non-voting position with a one-year appointment, which may include appointment to committees.
Appointments are made by a majority vote of the Board of Directors and are renewable based on mutual consent and Board approval. Appointment as an Associate Director doesn’t guarantee nomination or election to the Board of Directors. The election or re-election of the Board of Directors is held at our Annual Meeting in April. Full Directors serve three-year terms. All Associate and Full Director seats are volunteer only, and as such, are not paid positions.
