Cedar Springs Branch – Meet Manuel, Branch Manager, CCUFC

At Intandem Credit Union’s Cedar Springs branch, Manuel serves as Branch Manager. He brings leadership and a commitment to the members and community of Cedar Springs. His approach is rooted in clarity, compassion, and dedication, helping both his team and members thrive. What brought him to Intandem Credit Union was the opportunity to serve a community-focused branch and lead a team dedicated to treating every member with respect and care.
A Career Built on Experience
Manuel entered the financial industry in 2018 as a part-time teller at a community financial institution. Early on, he discovered the value he placed on working directly with members and helping them navigate financial decisions. Each position he has held over the years has shaped the way he leads today with a passion for teamwork, clear communication, and learning as a continuous process.
In 2023, he joined Intandem Credit Union as the Branch Manager for our Cedar Springs location. Here, he and his team are focused on keeping strong branch operations, providing reliable member service, and creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged to learn and grow.
As a result, Manuel is proud to be part of a credit union that aligns with his values. Especially when it comes to caring for people. One meaningful moment as a manager came when he helped a member begin their credit journey. Together, they opened a share-secured credit card to help them establish positive credit. Over time, they stayed connected, checked progress, and celebrated when that member’s improved credit score helped them qualify for financing on a mobile home. For Manuel, moments like this highlight what community banking means and the impact it can have on our neighbors. Small steps lead to life-changing opportunities.
Before joining the financial world, Manuel spent five years as an automotive technician. He often says that the skills he learned under the hood didn’t go to waste. He brought a detail-oriented, analytical approach into finance, helping him better understand members’ financial situations and guide them forward with confidence.
For Manuel, education has also played a meaningful role in his journey. Manuel earned his Associate Degree from College of the Sequoias and later completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus.
Life Outside the Branch
Outside of work, Manuel enjoys spending time outdoors and finds joy in activities such as kayaking, fishing, and being surrounded by nature. These moments give him balance and a chance to recharge.
Why Community Banking Matters to Manuel
Manuel and his team work hard to create an experience where members feel welcomed and appreciated. Their goal is simple, build long-lasting relationships with the people who walk through the door and with the community they serve every day.
We’re grateful for Manuel’s leadership, and we hope you have the chance to meet him the next time you stop by our Cedar Springs branch.
