Grand Rapids Coat Drive | Supporting Local Schools

Intandem Credit Union leaders hand a donation check to Sherri, supporting her efforts to provide coats and winter gear to students in Grand Rapids.

Our Grand Rapids Coat Drive initiative showed what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

Throughout November and December, members, employees, and community partners helped collect winter gear for local students, creating an impact that continues beyond the winter season.

We had the privilege of presenting Sherri with a $700 check to continue her work providing winter gear to local schools throughout Grand Rapids. These funds help expand the reach of the Coat Drive, ensuring more students have access to warm clothing during Michigan’s cold months.

We work with Sherri, who is deeply committed to supporting students during the winter season. Her dedication to local schools continues to inspire us, and we are proud to partner with her in making a meaningful difference.

Because of our members and community, this initiative goes beyond collecting coats. It represents neighbors coming together to invest locally and help students walk into school feeling comfortable and ready for the day ahead.

The Grand Rapids Coat Drive highlights the impact that collective generosity can have across our community. When students have reliable winter gear, it removes barriers and helps them stay focused on what matters most, learning and growing.

For Intandem Credit Union, community involvement is an ongoing commitment. By working alongside local leaders and volunteers, we continue creating opportunities that positively impact schools and families throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared the message, and supported this effort. Your involvement makes a lasting difference right here in Grand Rapids, and the success of this Grand Rapids Coat Drive reflects the generosity of the community we’re proud to serve.
