Putting Community Involvement into Action

At Intandem Credit Union, community involvement is more than a commitment. It’s part of who we are. Guided by the credit union philosophy of People Helping People, our team actively seeks opportunities to make a positive impact. As a result, we are proud to support organizations that strengthen the communities we serve.

Partnering with Home Repair Services

Recently, a group of Intandem Credit Union employees, including members of our leadership team, volunteered with Home Repair Services. Together, we supported local homeowners and contributed to projects that help create safer, more accessible living spaces.

One of the highlights of the day was building custom logoed tables made from reclaimed and scrap materials. Home Repair Services sells these tables to help fund future projects that benefit local homeowners. In addition, the organization also offers handcrafted benches and toolboxes. Every purchase helps support its ongoing work in the community.

The tables, benches, and toolboxes are sold throughout the community. Proceeds help fund future Home Repair Services projects and programs that benefit local homeowners. The impact of our volunteer day will continue long after the project ends.

Proud to Give Back Together

Volunteer opportunities like these remind us that meaningful community involvement extends beyond the workplace. By lending our time and talents, we strengthen neighborhoods, support local families, and build lasting connections. In turn, those efforts help create a stronger community for everyone.

We are grateful to Home Repair Services for welcoming our team. Additionally, we appreciate the important work they do every day. Seeing their impact firsthand made this experience especially rewarding, and we are proud to have supported their mission.

Most of all, we’re thankful for the Intandem team members who volunteered their time and energy to make the day a success. We look forward to future opportunities to give back, strengthen our community, and continue making a difference together.
