Creston Branch – Meet Valeria Rodriguez, Branch Manager
When you visit our Creston branch, one of the first smiles you’ll be greeted with is from Valeria Rodriguez. She is our Branch Manager, leading our Creston team at Intandem Credit Union. Valeria joined us in February of 2025. She brought years of experience in community banking and a genuine passion for serving people.
A Career Built on Dedication
Valeria’s career began as a part-time teller, and through hard work and determination, she advanced into roles across operations and member support. Over the years, she became a go-to person for member service and financial guidance, eventually accepting a role as assistant branch manager. Along the way, she has built lasting connections with community members and local businesses, a relationship that continues to shape her leadership style at our Creston location.
Although she didn’t have the opportunity to attend college after high school, Valeria built her career through dedication, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. She hopes to pursue a business degree at Davenport University in the future, further supporting her growth in the credit union industry.

What brought Valeria into the credit union world is simple: she enjoys being a trusted resource for people. For her, working in a credit union means more than completing transactions. It means offering honest support, creating a welcoming environment, and being someone members can rely on when they need guidance. She wants every person who walks into our Creston branch to know they are heard, valued, and supported.
Life Outside the Branch
Outside of work, Valeria enjoys spending time with her family, her kids, and her boyfriend. They love playing disc golf, exploring new parks, relaxing at the lake, or settling in for a movie night with popcorn and candy. She also enjoys staying active at the gym, reading, and spending time with her two pets, Arlo, their Pomeranian/Chihuahua/Aussie mix, and their newly adopted, very sassy calico kitten.
A fun fact she loves to share is that she once wrestled in school. She’ll tell you she wasn’t very good at it, but it always surprises people and sparks a smile.
