Two $10,000 Grants Available for Michigan Small Businesses
Intandem Credit Union is proud to offer the Elevate Small Business Grant through our partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBI).
The Elevate Small Business Grant supports local businesses by providing funding to strengthen operations, invest in growth, develop employees, and create economic impact in our communities.
Two grants of $10,000 each will be awarded.

Grant Application
Are You Eligible?
Businesses must:
- Be a for-profit business
- Be headquartered in Michigan or Indiana
- Have operated under current ownership since at least October 1, 2025
- Have annual gross revenue between $20,000 and $1,000,000
- Meet at least one program priority listed below
Businesses are not eligible if they:
- Are nonprofit organizations
- Are government entities
- Operate residential-only projects
- Received an Elevate Grant in 2021 or later
Program Priorities
- Housing Industry Trades: Businesses supporting housing construction, renovation, maintenance, or related services.
- Public Presence: Businesses operating from or establishing a public-facing commercial location.
- Community Enhancement: Businesses providing financial, occupational, workforce, or personal development training.

Eligible Uses of Funds
Grant funding may be used for:
- Property purchase or improvements
- Machinery, tools, or equipment
- Technology enhancements
- Workforce development or training
- Inventory, materials, or supplies
Grant funds may not be used for:
- Rent
- Utilities
- Debt payments
- Payroll, wages, or benefits
- Residential property purchases
How the Process Works
- Submit your application to Intandem Credit Union by September 1, 2026.
- Provide any requested financial and business documentation.
- Intandem will review all applications and select up to two businesses for submission to FHLBI.
- Final award decisions are made through the Elevate Small Business Grant program.
