Skip-a-Pay Helps the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County

Looking for ways to support local nonprofits and make a difference in your community? At Intandem Credit Union, we believe small actions can create a big impact. One of the ways our members do that is through our Skip-a-Payment program.

This program allows members to skip one monthly loan payment and, in return, contribute a small donation to a local cause. In 2024, those donations added up to $1,675 for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County.

The Children’s Advocacy Center provides a safe and welcoming space for children and families affected by abuse. Their team offers therapy, medical exams, and advocacy services to help children begin to heal and move forward. These programs rely on community donations to continue providing compassionate, professional care.

The Skip-a-Pay fundraiser shows how to support local nonprofits in simple, meaningful ways. You don’t need to organize a major event or give a large sum to make a difference—participating in programs like this one helps strengthen organizations that serve our neighbors every day.

At Intandem Credit Union, we’re proud to stand beside members who care deeply about the community. Together, we can help local nonprofits continue the important work they do for families across West Michigan.
